Terms of Use

Last updated: June 26, 2026

1. Overview

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Service Sheep web console. The web console is separate from the Service Sheep mobile app, which is covered by its own Terms of Use. By using the console you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the console.

2. Definitions

  • "We", "us", "our" — Jar Labs (Johannen Gabriel Robles & Jazielle Mavis Robles), the developer and operator of Service Sheep.
  • "You" — a user who has been given an account to sign in to the web console.
  • Web console — the browser-based application for administering congregation records.
  • Congregation — the local group whose records are managed in the console.
  • Report package (.ssrep) — an encrypted file exported from the Service Sheep mobile app and imported into the console.

3. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to users a congregation has given a web console account. The console is intended for use in the Philippines by users aged 18 or older.

4. Accounts and access

Accounts are provisioned for your congregation. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and any device activation passphrases confidential, and for activity that occurs under your account. Your congregation may grant, change, or revoke your access at any time, and we are not responsible for access decisions made by a congregation.

5. Acceptable use

The console may be used only for the legitimate administration of congregation field service records, and only within the privileges granted to your account. Do not export, share, or repurpose data outside that context.

6. Your responsibilities

When using the console you agree to:

  • Keep the records you enter accurate and truthful.
  • Ensure no personally identifiable information about householders is entered, in line with applicable data-protection law and your congregation's data-handling instructions.
  • Review and, where needed, edit the contents of any report package (.ssrep) before importing it.
  • Protect your credentials and the device you use to sign in.

7. Prohibited uses

  • Recording householder personal information.
  • Using the console for anything other than congregation administration.
  • Attempting to circumvent access controls or security measures.
  • Interfering with the operation of the service.
  • Any use that violates applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

Service Sheep, including the web console and its software, is owned by Jar Labs. The congregation records you enter remain the property of your congregation. To operate the console for you, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display those records solely to provide the service.

9. Service and fees

The console is provided free of charge. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we may set or change limits on use to keep the service running reliably.

10. Privacy

Your use of the console is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what information is handled and how.

11. Third-party services

The console relies on Amazon Web Services (database hosting on servers in Singapore), Protomaps (map tiles), Vercel (hosting plus usage and performance analytics), and Sentry (error and crash diagnostics). Their handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

12. Disclaimers

Except as required by applicable law, the console is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that results obtained from it will be accurate.

13. Limitation of liability

The console is provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the console, and our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the console will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it during the twelve months before the claim — which, for a service provided free of charge, is zero. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the console, your violation of these terms or applicable law, or your handling of personal information you enter.

15. Termination

Your congregation may suspend or revoke your account at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. On revocation, your ability to access congregation records through the console ends; those records remain subject to your congregation's control and to the Privacy Policy. To request removal of your data, contact your congregation's service overseer. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual property, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Governing law, and General provisions — continue to apply afterward.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where practicable, notify you of material changes. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

18. General provisions

  • Severability — if any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • Entire agreement — these terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the console and supersede any prior understanding on that subject.
  • No waiver — our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment — you may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the service.
